  • I have a corporation in Texas named Alyian Corp. Alyian is a combination of my kids names Aly + Ian which makes it easier for trademarking, but does not convey the type of business at all and will probably end up being pronounced like 'Alien'.

    The main function of the business is to find businesses that need working capital and match them with lenders who have capital.

    I would like a name that gives businesses confidence that when they call my company, they will receive the capital they need. Something that conveys the idea that we will do an exhaustive search to find a lender willing to finance their business and that we will be successful in doing so. I would also like the name to give the impression that the company is agile, efficient, and tech-savvy, and will not waste time.

    A one word name would be ideal, but up to three words is fine if it captures the concept above.

    It would be nice to use Alyian or Alyian Corp in the name, but it is not necessary.

    The business name must be able to be trademarked at least in the state of Texas, but nationwide would be better.

    Thank you everyone, you're generating a lot of good ideas. As we are half way through, I'd like to give a little focus to what I'm looking for.

    I'd like the name to capture the concept of connecting business to the funding they need.

    The names I'm liking so far have words like bridge, connection, pathway, and alliance.

    I'm not so crazy about solutions, enterprise, Texas, Lonestar, and biz; they tend to be overused.

    We've have some creative 'invented' words too. Keep up the good work.
