- name for asian take out restaurant
- Contest Category
- Detailed Brief
- We currently own and operate a well established asian takeout restaurant in New Zealand which is named " Panasia ". After 5 years of hard work we are looking to open a second shop but wish to adopt a new name as the meaning of panasia as Pan= All + Asia is lost on most people and a lot of our customers think it means Pan as in a frying pan. Also we just dont think Panasia is a cool name so were looking to you guys to come up with something creative for us.
Our menu is typically panasian and can be seen here at our website
www.panasia.co.nz.
We are a premium quality take out place where freshness and quality of taste is important to our customers. I need to emphasise the difference here between cheapo suburban chinese takeout full of food additives and pre-cooked ingredients and our type of cooking. We cook everything fresh, use free range chicken plus the best quality sauce ingredients.
Therefore we would like the new name to posasibly represent a higher quality of asian food along with the theme of the menu being all asian. We dont just do noodles as half of our menu is rice dishes and curries so names like noodle box etc wont work.
Right now I am thinking along the possible ideas of
1/ generic asian name. eg: bamboo, monsoon
2/ a descriptive name. eg: rice & noodle shop, wokstation, urban wok, etc
3/ Whatever esle works that you can think of - as long as it works there are no rules however bear in mind please that names like google and starbucks became famous as they were massively marketed and pushed onto the target audiences. I dont have the budget to make a generic funky name like bazongo synomonous with my food.
PS: note that the domain name will be required also but we are on the .co.nz domain not.com. Therefore availability should not be too much of an issue. - Names we like
- Zen kitchen, Urban Wok,
- Target Audience
- 20- 60 yrs, wanting healthy quality food
- Ideally, Name should include one of these words
- Maximum words in the
Name - 0
- Name Length
- No Limit
