  • We are a start-up, business(B2B) that offers a business analytics platform in the cloud that companies can tap in to. Using machine learning algorithms and advanced statistical analysis we optimize business processes in a wide range of sectors. We aim to act as a catalyst for the the paradigm shift taking place on intellectual work (as the industrial revolution was for physical work):

    Currently, critical business choices involve 2 factors:

    - inflexible statistical models based on idealized factors and assumptions
    - subjective error-prone gut feeling and business cases

    Nowadays, huge amounts of data are availible that can guide or can even take over this process, by learning assumption and flexible models from data. Therefore, intellectual work is being replace by automatic reasoning.

    The platform is situated in "the cloud", based on a second revolutionary idea: software and skills as a service. This offers scalability, modularity and focus.


    We operate in a business environment and as such we seek for a professional, clean but catching name. The name should ideally reflect:

    - business awareness
    - confidence
    - intellectual supremacy (in a positive way)
    - scientific methodes (but keep it business)

    As we're using state of the art scientific methods in a business setting, we consider ourselves pioneers in the field of BA (business analytics). Furthermore, we are service providers for companies dealing with big data, and are therefore very flexible in our approach, as we chart business processes onsite and offer the entire process of analytics to insights as a service.

    We just gave a bunch of good ones 3 stars to give you some direction.

    We would also like to see some more metaphors. Look for inspiration in Greek mythology, Latin, or elsewhere. We would also like to see some more names in the category of yahoo, google. New, fresh words that are short, jump at you, and are unique.

    Dear contestants,

    At this point, we want to give you two pointers to give you a little more direction:

    - When yourname.com is already registered and being used by a large, active company the name is useless to us.

    - We see some good names but would also like to see more use of metaphors.
