- Scientific Biofilm Solutions is a new division of Commercial Pools. This division will sell chemicals specifically designed to remove biofilm from hot tubs, jetted bath tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, etc. Are you always disappointed in cleaning chemicals? We have formulas that do an excellent job of removing biofilm, calcium deposits, iron, etc. Our logo criteria: we would like a simple, unique, easy to identify when seen, and strong design. Possibly scientific looking, but it doesn't have to be. I will update this brief as designs come in. What is biofilm? A biofilm is an aggregate of microorganisms in which cells adhere to each other on a surface. Wikipedia has a good description.
