My partner and I are starting a LLC. We are experienced at taking companies from paper to paperless. We do this by analyzing their current paper intense environment and implement solutions to eliminate the paper. We install commercial grade software to scan paper, add tags to the electronic documents, and create workflows to move the now electronic paper through workflows that we build. We basically allow the companies to do more with less people, more quickly, by moving to workflow solutions.

My partner and I have a similar mindset in the establishment of this company. We want to remain small, nimble, and higher great quality people.

We are looking for both a company name and appropriate domain name. We don't want any special characters in the name. Preferably, we don't want numbers in the name either but would still consider a name with numbers if you think that is a good fit.

Please make sure that the domain name is available at least with TLD of .com. Being able to purchase the others (.net, .info, .me, etc) would be a great benefit but not required.

We have received many great names related to our business services and the processes involved in our processes.

Still interested in a different type of name. Use the following ideas to come up with a unique name:

1. Name does NOT need to reflect our technology. This eliminates items like: paper, routing, docs, scanning, flow, image
2. The name might reflect core values or purpose�things that communicate a path to a better place. This might include things like trails, paths etc.
3. The name should roll off the tongue.
4. The name should have some meaning that we can explain without being too corny

I am surprised entries have not used the following words:

Route, Paths, Simple,Simply

I have not seen any non-related but different concept names like:

37signals, Yahoo, Google, etc.

How about names around a small company of talented people without using names related to the work we actually do. Just a good name regarding our small band of talented staff (2 today but growing to around 10 in the future). Something like:

10chairs, justten, elite8, etc.

I like many of the names so far. Many would not be good for a corporate world. Please don't fear going for a totally unique name that has nothing to do with Digital, Paper, Workflow, etc. I'd like to receive a variety coming from different angles. For example, we talked about a small company with many ten employees, call TEN Consulting. Also, discussed, being different than the competition like a North flowing river, which there are approximately 34 in the world. We thought maybe 34Rivers.com.

VirtualSolutions, thanks for getting the contest moving. I really like PaperlessMill. It is very easy to say and remember.

I would also suggest some others that might be more corporate like. I'm not sure which way I will pursue but I wanted you to be in the 'running' if decide to go more 'corporate'.
