  • Contest Title
  • Domain Name for an online customer service resolution website
  • Contest Category
  • Business & Service
  • Detailed Brief
  • We are launching a website for consumers who have had a poor experience with a business, e.g. gave the business a low rating on a review website such as Yelp, MojoPages, etc. We contact the business on behalf on the consumer and let the business know 1) what the customer needs to have their problem satisfactorily resolved and 2) that the business's decision to please or disappoint the consumer will be broadly publicized.
A second aspect of the business is that we are a conduit for business to receive the most important information about them, i.e. negative and very public customer complaints, and give the business a chance to do something about it.
The name should indicate attempting to arrive at a win-win resolution of the problem. There are many sites for simply complaining and that is not what this site is about. It is about resolution, mediation, finding common ground for the benefit of both sides.
A final aspect of the business that may yield a name is that the site leverages the emerging power of social media (FaceBook, Twitter, etc.) to even the playing field between individual consumers and the much larger businesses. Social media dramatically amplifies the voice of the individual, and business now must listen and respond.

This one is memorable and does allude to the process of complaining and getting resolution.

I like the connotation of fair and would be pleased to see fair as part of the name.
  • Crowd Resolution

I like the reference to crowd, but with resolution it is too long.

Excellent direction!--relatively short, spelled correctly, connotes collaboration

Interesting conceptually, but way too many syllables. Four or less syllables is preferable. Two or three would be best.

I like the cleverness of the combination of two words and the shortening of one of them; but again logic is not what I am trying to convey.

I like the combination of two words, but logic isn't necessarily part of what I hope to convey

    I don't understand the reference.

This has nice action and crispness to it, and it reflects positivity and resolution. I like it.

This has the immediacy of the "Got Milk?" and "Got Junk?" campaigns.
  • ResolutionAire

  • Posted by : JDG (Contest Holder)
I'm not quite sure what it means, but I like it. Maybe it means "one who resolves" or "that which resolves."
  • Fair Compromise
  • Posted by : JDG (Contest Holder)
Although it is about arriving at a "win-win," I would like to find a stronger word than compromise.
  • Fair Podium

  • Posted by : JDG (Contest Holder)
I like the "fair" more than the "podium," but the direction of the image is good.
  • Worthy Resolution

I like the direction. I am hoping to limit the name to 3 or 4 syllables.
  • Get Some Closure
  • Posted by : JDG (Contest Holder)
Also interesting; however, the connotations of "closure" that come to mind are following the death of someone or the breakup with someone. Neither of these connotations reflect the commercial nature of the relationship between customer and business.
  • Solve Any Issue

  • Posted by : JDG (Contest Holder)
Interesting; however, the intent of the site is to focus on commercial problems as opposed to problems with governmental organizations or personal problems with an individual or policy disputes with NGO's, etc.

Looks funny with the prominent "AI" in the middle; and using the incorrect indefinite article is not a plus.
