    I appreciate everyone%u2019s effort and all of your submissions.

    This new company name will be used for an investment company. Think bank, financial services, stock broker, hedge fund, etc. Our product will be similar to bank CDs or a fixed income security.

    I want to stay away from literal or descriptive words: capital, finance, investment, etc. I can take care of that with a tag line and/or the context of the business.


    Try the following:
    Metaphors to communicate positive attributes

    Positive connotations %u2013 look at combining words with positive meaning/energy


    Think we%u2019ve pretty much beaten the following words to death: gem, ruby, sapphire, diamond, gold, golden, platinum

    Words to avoid: trust, investing, investments, investors, wealth, wealthy, finance, fortune, global, worldwide, etc.

    Please keep the name to a maximum of 2 words

    Combining 2 words with positive connotations are great, just make sure that the words would be obvious to the average person .

    Words to avoid - Global, Trust, Investment

    Words that have a negative meaning (cynical, dare2invest, dareup, cartelcrew, cartelposse, phantomEleven, labyrinth, sinvest)

    Words that are hard to pronounce

    Non-English words where the meaning wouldn%u2019t be immediately obvious to the average person

    Seriously? Zeus, zephyr, odyssey, Pegasus, unicorn, sphinx, titan
