  • Several of you have suggested that Squadhelp needs a new logo. and we agree! So here is your opportunity to show off your creativity and design skills.

    We are looking for a fresh, clean logo that works well on a black blackground. Ideally, that logo should also work well with a white background.

    We are open to ALL good ideas - however we would prefer that the logo offers a fresh, web 2.0 feel.

    We can't wait to see your submissions!

    Thanks for everyone's efforts. Here is some more specific feedback that would guide you in further improving the submissions. We will pick on the few entries that are good or interesting - to describe what we are looking for.

    1. Entry {rep_no} 214111: Overall, a clean entry. We like this. However, try few different variants of font/color. For example consider using green color in your font. Here is a good use of green color: http://www.mygofer.com

    2. Entry: 211875 - Again, very clean. However, try using slightly different variants of color. Such as the one suggested above.

    3. Entry: 213620 - We like the little icon, representing collective intelligence of people. Would be good to see this in couple other color options other than orange/blue.

    4. Entry 211257: We love how you have taken the letter "Q" and turned it into a callout. The logo seems a little too bit and few other color combinations might also be helpful. Note: for everyone - this is a great example of how a letter in the logo has been modified to showcase the purpose of Squadhelp.


    So to summarize, try few other color variations such as green/ blue. Again, we dont want the logo to be too colorful or too flashy. Something elegant and simple.

    Thanks for all your submissions so far. Here are some general comments based upon the current submissions and questions we have received so far:

    1. There is no requirement that the logo has to use orange and blue colors. You can chose other colors if you wish - as long as they complement and go with the current theme of the site.

    2. The logo should be very clean, and not too flashy. It should be simple, yet witty. See this link for some inspiration and examples that we like:

    All thanks for your submissions so far. Here is some feedback on the entries so far.

    1. Entry 210817: We do not like the colorful effect in the back.

    2. Entry: 211257: We like how you have used the letter Q and how the community aspect is incorporated into the logo. Good start. Some other variations would be nice. Also, perhaps some other combinations (to make it work on a white background) would also be great.

    3. Entry{rep_no} 211344: While the color choices are interesting, and the logo is clean.. it feels a bit basic.

    4. Entry{rep_no} 211338: It does have a fun element in it - but it is a bit too goofy to use as a logo for our site.

    Overall a good start! Keep submitting more entries!
