  • One brand name for group of health food supplement range.

    The way to win this competition is to do research AND BRAIN STORM. Please avoid domain name generators.

    All entries will be star grading to give you an idea when you are going in the right direction.

    Range includes;

    Joint Care
    Energy
    Weight Loss
    Skin
    Liver
    Stomach
    Eyes

    Ingredients are all natural.
    Customers are mainly women, but name should not alienate male customers.

    Concept is of product range is that they are bright, active and work effectively.

    Name should avoid the the use of words which imply anything that heals, repairs or in any way act as a medicine. Implying medicinal use is not OK and names should avoid medicine sounding drugs.

    Although .com registration is an advantage, it is not an essential requirement, as we don't wish to limit creatively.

    Names should make people feel something toward the product. For this reason names to avoid include 'Actihealth' or 'Provit'. When you think of a name, think how you would feel towards the product if you saw it on the shelf of your local store.

    Inspiration may come from plant names, names used in nature, or anything you think may provide creativity.

    We think Dermotologica, Clinique, L'Oreal, are all well named.

    One of the names we have come come up with is Nutrial. Unfortunately this is already trademarked for our purpose.

    Clinical type names are fine (as found on cosmetic brands).

    Please avoid obvious names.

    Please try to avoid converging two names into one, unless they sound very good.

    Most submissions have been very good. The star rating given by us to your submission is an indication of suitability for the product, and not because we think the name is bad.

    Please think what you would like from a supplement - all the positive outcomes imaginable.

    Write down all words that come immediately to mind when thinking of these positive outcomes i.e. adjectives, verbs, even nonsensical words.

    Look for patterns in all the words you have.

    Submit everything, even if it sounds rubbish to you.

    We will review every word you submit, without looking at who submitted the word. This means your entries won't be disregarded unconsciously, even if you think you may have submitted lots of seemingly irreverent words in the past.

    What appears irrelevant to you may appeal to others, and because all entries are rated, you will get a better idea of what we like.
