  • Detailed Brief

This contest is to name a start-up travel company that will focus on unique destination- and event-focused travel opportunities for people interested in curated, thematic travel events and activities in the U.S. and abroad.  Our target demographic includes the "Urban Affluent"; business and corporate professionals; upscale singles and couples; adventure seekers; and national and international travelers. Past events from the predecessor company have been held in The Hamptons, NY; Napa Valley, CA; Cape Town, South Africa; the Solomon Islands. Other destinations will include Daytona Beach, FL; Hawaii, Spain, Washington, DC; and other U.S. locations. I am responsible for reviving a company and just beginning this effort.

Update: OK, everyone, let's change our focus a bit as I'm not happy with most of the submissions thus far. Let's try to come up with a single word that has a sense of elegant to it, is unique, implies travel and adventure, and will be memorable and attractive. For example, the oceanographic term, guyot, refers to a flat-topped submarine mountain. I thought of that last night. I found that last night and like it. However, the word on its own seems insufficient as most people won't know its definition and it probably needs to be associated with a second word. Second words are allowable, but no more mash-ups as they don't seem to be doing much good. Thanks!
