I am looking for a name for my new security startup in the Los Angeles area. We will be providing all types of security services (not network security) to all types of commercial and private clients. I would like something unique that does not sound like all the other average security company names ie: Imperial, Shield, Arrow, Safeguard, Panther, etc (most of those names are taken anyway). Most likely the name would be a variation on a security related word like the existing company name "Securitas" and would probably be a word that would NOT be found in the dictionary. I like existing security company names like: Securitas, Xpera, Securitech, Protection1, Lagarda, Allrisk. Some things to keep in mind: -We are not just security guards so the name should reflect that. -We should avoid a name that might be mistaken for a network security company. -Although we are not a network or computer security company, we do have a modern, tech-centric approach to physical security and the name should reflect that. I just left a job with Apple Corporate security and we may focus on seeking Tech industry security accounts. - I would also like a name that has an international appeal and easy for non English speakers to pronounce and remember. "Securitas" is a great example of that. -Some security industry buzzwords to keep in mind; secure, security, safeguard, protect, guard, protection, risk, safe, safety.
Thanks in advance for your effort and ideas. Terry
PLEASE GOOGLE YOUR NAMES BEFORE SUBMITTING. I AM RECEIVING MANY SUBMISSIONS THAT ARE ALREADY COMPANY NAMES. THANKS
