Need a name for luxury Wood Flooring business in London.
Our business produces luxury wooden flooring and furniture in the heart of London.
Our floors are truly bespoke - our skilled craftsman work to clients needs to create wooden floors in an almost infinite choice of colours, finish, sizes and patterns. Everything is done by hand using only the finest oak, sourced from across Europe.
We also produce beautiful oak tables and other furniture pieces.
We are soon to be opening a new retail shop in the heart of London and hence need a name for this new division of our business.
Yes, But minor variations are allowed
1. Furniture & Home Furnishings
2. Home Services - Flooring
3. Furniture & Home Furnishings
Our customers are generally very wealthy and have an eye for the finer things in life. Our customers have a huge amount of input into the outcome of their finished pieces, therefore usually have a strong sense of style. Generally speaking our customers are between the ages of 30-60. I would say around 80% of our customers are London housewives, tasked with decorating their homes by their professional husbands. Almost all of our customers live in very affluent pockets of London.
Our name needs to convey, class and sophistication (but not be too dry or corporate). It needs to be English. We are very proud of the fact that our products are hand crafted with love in England, using as much British sourced materials as possible. Traditional - This is a tricky one, our new shop is located in a very traditionally British location, and we want to keep our brand in keeping with this. Our business however is modern in its approach and ethos, in that we are all very laid back, like to have fun and be creative with our products. If possible but not 100% necessary we would like some kind of link to Wood or Oak, but without actually using those words - something more subtle that most people would not understand until thought about about or told. Think Bough (synonym for twig or branch) Smokey (smoking being a process used to colour wood), and other words mildy relating to wood or woodcrafting. We have thought about doubled barrelled names using English surnames, for example Selwyn and Roberts, but feel this has been overdone and any names would have to have some relation to our business. We like the idea of the word Butler as this connotates good service - something we pride ourselves on. Not vital but would welcome ideas of this nature. Key points: English, high class, sophisticated, traditional and stylish. ... although these key points are vital - i would not be opposed to poking some fun in there somewhere, if anybody can add some subtle fun into our new name we would welcome that too!
